An 80-year-old man has died after being hit by a car in Co.Cork yesterday evening.
The man was struck by a car as he crossed the road at Dromahane Cross, Dromore, Drunahane.
The incident happened at about 9.30pm last night. The man was removed by ambulance from the scene to Cork University Hospital where he died in the early hours of this morning.
Gardaí are investigating.
