Man charged with computer hacking

A man appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court yesterday on charges of computer hacking.

A man appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court yesterday on charges of computer hacking.

Mr Sean Joseph Burns (21), of New Barnsley Crescent, west Belfast, was charged under the Computer Misuse Act with hacking into another computer, conspiring to defraud the mobile phone company, Vodac (Ulster) Ltd, and obtaining property by deception.

He was remanded on bail until October 2nd.
