Police in Northern Ireland investigating a violent raid in which a farmer was submerged in bath water and doused in petrol have charged a man.

The 32-year-old suspect will appear at Omagh Magistrates Court today accused of armed robbery.

The victim, Mr David Hutchinson, 58, was tied up and hit in the face during the ordeal at his home on the Ballygrooby Road, Moneymore, Co Tyrone, on Wednesday.
