A man beaten and stabbed at his home in Co Down last night is being treated in hospital.
The assault happened after the man answered a knock at the door of his house in the Grove Hill area of Bangor at 9.15pm to be confronted by two men.
The 33-year-old suffered injuries to the head and face after being beaten with a stick. He also received stab wounds to a leg.
