A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Walkinstown, Dublin, this afternoon as part of an on-going National Drugs Unit operation.

Detectives say the man was in possesion of 50,000 ecstasy tablets with an estimated street value of €700,000.

He was arrested at 3.30 p.m. and is being detained at Sundrive Rd Garda Station under the provisions of Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
