Detectives investigating the murder of a doorman in the north last year made a further arrest today.
Brian McGlynn (28) was shot dead as he lay in bed in his home in Derry in June 2007. He was sleeping beside his girlfriend in the house they shared in the Fountain Hill area of the city when gunmen burst into the room and shot him several times.
Police have made a series of arrests in connection with the killing in the last month, but no-one has yet been charged.
The PSNI said today a 48-year-old suspect was taken into custody in the Strabane area.
Mr McGlynn was originally from Strabane but had been working as a doorman at a nightclub and a pub in Derry.
