An English man has pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to killing a Kerry musician twelve years ago.
Robert Anthony (61), with a previous address at Derrylough, pleaded not guilty of murder but guilty of the manslaughter of Philip O’Sullivan (19) at Derrylough, Tuosist, Killarney on August 22nd, 1997.
The plea was accepted by the State.
Anthony was remanded in custody for sentencing until October 6th.

Mr O'Sullivan's body was found by the side of the main Kenmare-Castletownbere road about nine miles from Kenmare.
Anthony was arrested two hours later at his home.
Anthony, who was arrested last year by the London Metropolitan police and extradited to Ireland, absconded while on bail in 1998.
