London - A man has been acquitted by a court in Dubai of the manslaughter of a former Miss New Zealand, his solicitor said yesterday. Mr Duncan Alexander (29) was charged after the death in March this year of Ms Kerry Blackwell, whose body was found at the bottom of a swimming pool with her neck broken.

Mr Alexander, who has dual British and Irish nationality, claimed Blackwell (30) died accidentally after diving into the shallow end of the pool.
