A Leixlip, Co Kildare man aged 67 who is charged with raping a 13 year old girl was sent forward for trial to the circuit court. He faces 16 charges of raping and sexually assaulting a 13 year old girl in his home between December 1993 and October 1994.
He is also charged with failing to appear in Kilmainham District Court on October 27th last. Judge Gillian Hussey returned the man to Naas Circuit Court on bail of £250.
