A man is due in court tomorrow after being charged in connection with a weapons find in Belfast on Friday.

A man is due in court tomorrow after being charged in connection with a weapons find in Belfast on Friday.

The 54-year-old was charged last night and is expected before Belfast magistrates tomorrow morning, charged with possession of firearms and ammunition with intent to endanger life.

On Friday police discovered two assault rifles and three shotguns along with ammunition, various items of combat clothing, a scanner receiver and charger and 8,000 suspected contraband cigarettes in the garden of a house on New Barnsley Crescent.
