A 42 year-old man has died after being crushed by his lorry in a dockyard accident.
The lorry driver was working in a yard at the Tivoli Docks in Cork at around 8.30 a.m. when his vehicle began to roll forward, crushing him between the truck and another trailer.
The scene is to be examined by Garda technical experts and a post mortem will be carried out at Cork University Hospital.
Gardaí in Mayfield said the name of the man, who is from Cork, will not be released until his family are notified.
