A man (19) has been shot in the leg in the Ballynanty area of Limerick city.
The victim was attacked at Shannabooley Road at around 9.20pm last night.
He was taken to the Mid-West Regional Hospital, but his injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí from Mayorstone Garda Station have appealed for witnesses.
