A man (19) has been charged with the murder of an elderly guesthouse owner in Co Down.

Billy Spence (68) was beaten and stabbed in the Tara guesthouse, Princetown Road, Bangor, earlier this week.

His body was discovered by his partner on Tuesday morning at the bed and breakfast that he had owned for 18 years.
