A syndicate of ESB workers yesterday claimed almost £250,000 in National Lottery winnings after matching six numbers in last Wednesday's Lotto draw. The members of the 88-person syndicate, the largest group of winners in the history of the Lottery, all work at the Lanesboro power station in Co Longford. Each member will get over £2,800.
