A murder trial jury was sworn in at the Central Criminal Court yesterday in the case of two Limerick men accused of murdering a barman four years ago.

Mr Raymond Casey (37), of Ashe Avenue, John Carew Park, and Mr Anthony Casey (20), Mount Pleasant Avenue, both in Limerick, have pleaded not guilty to the murder of Mr Noel Pyper (48) at, or near, Newenham Street, Limerick, on August 12th, 1997.

The trial, before Mr Justice Carney, opens tomorrow.
