Limerick man killed in car crash

A Limerick man who was killed in a car crash last night has been named by gardaí.

A Limerick man who was killed in a car crash last night has been named by gardaí.

He was named as Anthony Cooke (29) from Lisnagry, Co Limerick.

Mr Cooke was the driver of a car involved in a head-on collision with another car near Daly's Cross on the main Limerick-Dublin road.

The four male passengers in the car were a taken to Limerick General Hospital, where three were described as being in a "serious" condition by a garda spokesman.
