A daughter of heroin dealer Tony Felloni has been given a six-month suspended sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for biting a garda's hand.
Lena Felloni was being placed in a holding cell on a larceny charge when she bit Garda Una Shanley and drew blood.
Felloni (25), of Haven House, Morning Star Avenue, Phibsboro, pleaded guilty to assaulting Garda Shanley at the Bridewell Garda station on September 19th, 1997.
Judge Patrick McCartan said he hoped Felloni would go on to provide a better life for her child than her own family had provided for her.
