Labour remains on course for a big win in tomorrow’s general election, despite a sharp narrowing of its lead, says an opinion poll published today.
The ICM survey for the Guardianshowed the Tories cutting Labour's advantage to 11 points from 19 points just a week ago.
It put Labour on 43 per cent, four points down from last week; the Conservatives up four on 32 per cent; and the Liberal Democrats up two on 19 per cent.
But ICM calculated the figures would still translate to a Labour majority of between 170 and 190 - similar to that of 1997.
