The creation of a tax designated area at Knock Airport gas under active consideration, the Government Chief Whip, Mr Jim Higgins, told the Mayo World Convention in Ballina at weekend.
He also announced that all the detailed work had been completed for the national Auto Turning Training Centre in Ballina, a joint venture between FAS and industry, and it was hoped to have a sod cutting ceremony shortly.
