Brian Kerr has named a new look forward line for his first senior international game in charge when Ireland take on Scotland at Hampden Park this evening.

In the absence of the injured Damien Duff and Robbie Keane, Kerr has drafted in Clinton Morrison and Gary Doherty to spearhead the attack.

Manchester United's John O'Shea will earn his third senior cap as he takes his place in the heart of the defence alongside Gary Breen. Ian Harte is selected in the left corner.

Stephen Carr completes the defensive line-up returning for duty after almost 18 months in the international wilderness.

Matt Holland will captain the side.
