The High Court reserved judgment yesterday on an application by a domiciliary midwife to discharge an order restraining her from practising.

The order was granted against Ms Ann O Ceallaigh, of Temple Crescent, Blackrock, to An Bord Altranais on an exparte basis in August 1997.

Ms O Ceallaigh is the subject of four complaints to the board - two made by the master of a Dublin maternity hospital and two by the matron of another hospital.
