A woman who twice successfully sued HB Ices following accidents at its Rathfarnham, Co Dublin plant, has lost a £30,000 damages claim relating to two more recent incidents.

Judge Esmonde Smyth told Mrs Sylvia Hughes, of Neagh Road, Terenure, Dublin, she had failed to establish negligence in both accidents against her employer.

The court heard Mrs Hughes had received sums of £7,500 and £1,700 compensation for two previous accidents in the plant.
