The jury in the trial of a Dublin man charged with attempted rape is expected to retire today to begin deliberations on the conclusion of Mr Justice Carney's charge.

The 20-year-old defendant has pleaded not guilty during an eight-day trial in the Central Criminal Court to attempted rape and sexual assault of a 30year-old woman in the grounds of a Ballymun school early on January 15th, 1996.
