Paris - About 20 members of the press freedom advocacy group Reporters Without Frontiers occupied the Tunisian tourist office in Paris yesterday after staging an all night sit-in to protest the arrest of a Tunisian journalist.

The Paris-based group has demanded the release of Sihem Ben Sedrine, who was arrested in Tunis on June 26th after returning from a tour of Europe where she spoke publicly about the human rights situation in the north African country. Ms Ben Sedrine, a spokeswoman for the human rights group Tunisian National Council for Liberty and editor of the online magazine Kali- ma, is alleged to have quoted a judge as saying the Tunisian judiciary was under government.
