The chairman of the council of directors of the Institutes of Technology (ITs) has expressed his satisfaction with the way in which the OECD review of third-level education here is being conducted.

"I would say the council of directors coming out of the meeting today would have great confidence in the process," he said.

"The group concentrated a great number of their questions on our submission document," Mr Hannigan added.
