Israeli troops killed a Palestinian man in the central Gaza Strip, the army said today.
An Israeli army spokesman said the man approached the border fence between Israel and the Hamas-controlled territory during the night and threw an object at it.
Gaza medical staff said the man lived in Gaza City and was unarmed when they collected his body.
