Israeli forces have arrested several it claims are Palestinian militants on the outskirts of Arab East Jerusalem, just hours after the double Palestinian suicide bombing last night, Palestinian witnesses said.
Israel's army Radio said the suspects rounded up in the pre-dawn raid were activists from an Islamic college in the Palestinian village of Abu Dis, a hotbed of Palestinian nationalism. Israeli officials had no immediate comment.
