A Irishman (22) is in intensive care in Crete today after his scooter went off a cliff into the sea.
It is believed that scooter skidded off a narrow road and fell 60 feet into the sea.
Mr David Clune, holidaying on the Greek island, was pulled ashore by a local woman and was brought to a nearby hospital.
