British police in Brighton are investigating the "brutal" murder of an Irish-born man living in the city.
The body of Dublin man, Mr Brendan Byrne (51) was found on Monday in his flat. He had been kicked to death before being set on fire. Police believe the attack probably took place in Mr Byrne's flat on Thursday or Friday. They believe Mr Byrne's attacker probably then set fire him in a bid to destroy forensic evidence.
