Una McCaffrey has been appointed assistant business editor.
Una has been a reporter with The Irish Timessince 2001, having previously worked in Finance magazine.
She holds a degree in law with French from Queen's University, Belfast, and a postgraduate diploma in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University.
She is a native of Dromore, Co Tyrone.
