A young male motorcyclist died on Sunday following a fatal road crash in Co Mayo.
He died after his bike collided with a van shortly after half past three at Mount Falcon, between Foxford and Ballina.
Gardaí have not revealed the name of the deceased and are waiting until all relatives have been informed.
It is understood the deceased is in his thirties and was a native of the Co Mayo area.
Diversions were in place for a number of hours following the incident as gardaí carried out a technical examination of the scene.
