A man in his 20s has been killed following a single vehicle crash in Slane, Co Meath on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred on the L5068 at Knockcommon in Slane, Co Meath after 10.30pm. The driver of the vehicle received treatment at the scene from paramedics but was later pronounced deceased.
His body was later removed to the mortuary at Navan Hospital.
There were no other passengers in the vehicle, and no other injuries were reported.

The L5068, just off the N2, remains closed this morning for an examination of the scene. Local diversions are in place.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses, including any road users with dash cam footage.
