Iona Technologies announced this afternoon that CEO, Mr Barry Morris has acquired 45,500 shares in the company, representing 0.14 per cent, at $2.1634 each, it was announced this afternoon.
Mr Morris now holds 80,424 shares, representing 0.249 per cent of the Dublin-based company.
The firm, which develops software that enables businesses to link their IT systems together has had a difficult summer. Last month it announced it was to cut 125 jobs following a profit warning.
It also announced a major restructuring following poor financial results, which showed its second-quarter revenues of $26.5 million (€27 million) almost halved compared to the same period last year.
