GARDAI in Dublin are seeking information on two youths (pictured in identikit drawings above), who attacked a member of the force on March 7th last in the Phoenix Park.
The incident occurred between 9.30 and 10p.m. at the 40 steps which lead from Wellington Road down to Conyngham Road at Islandbridge. The garda suffered a serious injury to his right hand.
One of the youths was described at 5ft 8in to 5ft9in, in his late teens to early 20s, of thin build with a thin face, prominent cheekbones, pale complexion and short, blonde or streaked hair. He had a gap between his front teeth.
The other was said to be a teenager of between 5ft 6in and 5ft 7in tall, of stocky, strong build with a round shiny face, and short black hair. He was well groomed.
