FG's Michael Creed said the following to agriculture Minister of State, Ned O'Keeffe at Dail question-time on Thursday: "When the Minister was on this side and there was a crisis in the pig industry, he lambasted the film Babe because he was of the opinion it would affect consumption of pork products. Is he aware that RTE intend to show the film over the Christmas and perhaps he will make representations to RTE?" O'Keeffe outlined at length his department's plans to boost the pig industry but omitted any reference to Babe.
