Howlin seeks to plug water leaks

Measures to conserve water supplies by reducing leakage from the State's water distribution system were announced yesterday by the Minister for the Environment, Mr Howlin. These include a grant scheme for local authorities to fund planned water conservation projects and the publication of a guidance manual on water conservation.
