A 10-year-old girl has been treated for shock after a petrol bomb was thrown at her home in north Belfast last night.
The girl is a pupil at the nearby Holy Cross Primary School, which was at the centre of Loyalist protests at the start of last year’s school term.
Her mother, speaking on BBC Radio Ulster said her daughter was in a "terrible state" after the incident.
One device struck the back of the house in the Alliance Avenue area around 8 p.m. A police spokeswoman said stones had been thrown into the Glenbryn area before the attack.
