Two suspicious devices found in Derry overnight were both declared a hoax by British army technical officers.

A package was discovered outside the Caw army camp on the Limavady Road in the Waterside area of Derry late last night. Bomb disposal experts inspected the area after a tip-off but nothing was found.

At around the same time, a suspicious device was reported in Abbeydale Park in the Ballysillan area of Belfast. Army technical officers were dispatched, but again a hoax was declared.

There were a number of reports of suspicious devices reported yesterday.
