Customs officers have seized heroin worth €50,000 in Rosslare.

The drugs, weighing 1/4 kilogram, were found taped to the lower body of a foot passenger on a ferry that arrived in the port from Cherbourg, France today.
According to a Revenue statement the seizure was made following a positive indication by drug detector dog Dillon.
A 42-year-old male from Dublin was arrested and handed over to gardaí in Wexford Garda Station.
