Diabetes study
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation has launched an international project to understand the genetics of kidney disease in people with type 1 diabetes. A team of UCD researchers, led by diabetes expert Prof Catherine Godson, will study DNA data to help further understanding of diabetic nephropathy.

Dublin Fire Brigade today launches its “Message in a Bottle” project to encourage people to keep personal and medical details in a container in the fridge so that vital minutes can be saved when treating patients in an emergency.
