Hardiman new DCU chancellor

The new chancellor of Dublin City University is Dr T.P. Hardiman. A graduate in engineering and science at UCD, he is a former director general of RTE. Since leaving RTE, he had become active in scientific life in Ireland and abroad, and in European affairs through his involvement in a number of European Commission committees. Dr Hardiman is a member of the Royal Irish Academy, and a fellow of the Irish Academy of Engineering; the New York Academy of Sciences and a member of the Institution of Engineers of Ireland.
