Greek Orthodox church joins ICC

The Irish Council of Churches (ICC) has accepted an application for membership from the Greek Orthodox Church

The Irish Council of Churches (ICC) has accepted an application for membership from the Greek Orthodox Church. There are about 400 members of the denomination in Ireland, and it has one priest and a church in Arbour Hill, Dublin.

Also represented for the first time as an observer at the ICC annual meeting in Newry, Co Down, over the weekend was the Coptic Orthodox Church which has a church in Bray, Co Wicklow.
