Glanbia R&D centre to create 30 jobs

Food company Glanbia will create up to 30 graduate jobs including some Phds at its new innovation centre in Kilkenny.

Food company Glanbia will create up to 30 graduate jobs including some Phds at its new innovation centre in Kilkenny.

The Minister for Agriculture, Mr Walsh , today announced plans for the centre which will cost  euro15 million over the next five years.

The centre will focus on the European market and  will complement the Glanbia R&D Centre at Twin Falls, in Idaho, which services the US nutritional market.

It is envisaged that the centre will work closely with Irish and international universities.
