Up to €200,000 worth of heroin has been seized in Dublin's inner city, it emerged today.

Up to €200,000 worth of heroin has been seized in Dublin's inner city, it emerged today.

The drugs was found after a planned search of the Meath Market and South Earl Street area yesterday evening by officers from Kevin Street Garda Station.

"The value of the seized drugs pending forensic analysis is approximately €200,000," a Garda spokesman said.

No was arrested in the operation.
