Two men and a woman were arrested in Co Wexford today after gardai seized cannabis and cocaine with an estimated street value of €180,000.

As part of a planned operation gardai carried out a search of a house in the Mulrankin area of Bridgetown, this morning.

Quantities of what is believed to be cocaine and cannabis, subject to analysis, were seized in the course of the search, a Garda statement said.

Two men, aged 38 and 37, and a woman aged 33 were arrested and are detained under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

The 38-year-old man and the woman are being held at Wexford Garda station, while the other man is being held at New Ross station.
