Gardaí in Dublin have appealed for help in identifying a man found badly injured in the city this morning.

The man was found in Fitzwilliam Square between 9a.m. and 9.30 a.m.

He is described as between 25 and 35 years of age. He was wearing a light coloured shirt, Ralph Lauren blue jeans, brown shoes and cream socks.

The man is in a serious condition in St James Hospital, the Garda said.
