Gardai have named the man whose body was found in Dublin's Ballymun yesterday as Gregory Rowan (44) from Sillogue Road in the area.
Gardaí in Ballymun have opened a murder inquiry following the discovery of the body of a man in north Dublin yesterday.
Mr Rowan's body was found at Sillogue Road shortly before 3pm yesterday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Earlier gardai launched a murder investigation into the incident after a postmortem found Mr Rowna was the victim of an assault.
