The two children killed in a car crash in Co Tipperary last evening were named as Natalie Horan (13) from Ballyduggan, Nine Mile House, Co Tipperary and Michael Brennan (14) from Ballylanigan, Mullinahone.
Two other passenger were taken to Joseph's Hospital, Clonmel after the car went out of control and crashed on the Ballingarry Road at Mullinahone.
They were treated for minor injuries, a Garda spokeswoman said. The driver of the car was unhurt in the crash which happened at 6.15pm.
Gardaí in Clonmel are investigating.
