Gardai investigating discovery of body in Dublin

The body of a man in his 40s has been found in undergrowth in a west Dublin cemetery.

The body of a man in his 40s has been found in undergrowth in a west Dublin cemetery.

The discovery was made at Mill Lane in Palmerstown shortly after 5pm.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination.

It is understood the remains have some injury marks, and officers are investigating if the death was suspicious.

It is not yet known how long the body has been at the scene.

Deputy State Pathologist Michael Curtis is at the cemetery.
