Gardaí are investigating a shooting incident in Drogheda, Co Louth.
Two shots were fired on Church Street near the town centre at 12.40am last night.
One shot was fired at the front door of a house while a second was fired at a 4x4 vehicle, a Garda spokesman said. There were no injuries or arrests.
He said the area had been cordoned off to allow for a forensic examination.
